An opportunity has become available to join one of our returning clients based in Aberdeen. The client offer both onshore and offshore global engineering solutions, technical support and project management. They are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent and either full-time (37.5 hrs) or part-time (30 hrs) basis at their offices in Aberdeen.

The Accounts Assistant position will support the Financial Controller in many aspects of Accounting & Finance including but not limited to:

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Expense Reconciliation (credit card)
  • Preparation of Customer & Client Sales Invoices
  • Coding and Input of Purchase Invoices
  • Credit Control
  • Monthly PO Analysis
  • Journal Input
  • Assisting with Month End and Year End
  • Participating in Yearly Audit, Analysis and Reconciliation Processes

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Have an Accounting Qualification or Extensive Equivalent Accounting Experience
  • Knowledge of Accounts To Trial Balance / P&L Stage
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Experience in Various Accountancy Environments

Salary : £26k – £28k
