An excellent opportunity for a Buyer to join a Refurbishment Contractor based in Glasgow is now available. This is an exciting time to join a busy company who are wining regular contracts operating across sectors such as Fit-Out and Renewables. Typical projects include External Wall Insulation, Render and Roofing, Windows and Doors and may more. They are seeking a competent Buyer who is well versed within the role who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Conducting competitor research.
- Research and purchase products and materials.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for best pricing.
- Manage status of orders.
- Analyse market trends.
- Liaise with senior management teams.
Must:
- Have a track record of buying.
- Have strong computer skills.
- Possess solid negotiation skills.
