I have a couple of excellent opportunities come up North of Aberdeen with my client who is looking for machinists. Their workshop is impressive having been in the business for almost 50 years and they had a huge emphasis on taking care of their employees and many of their current employees have been there for 15 – 35 years.
Time served CNC Miller
They are looking for someone who is highly skilled in programming and setting for this role. Must be able to write programming and work from engineer drawings as the client are sub contractors so the parts to be machined are always changing and need to be machined to the highest quality. They currently us Heidenhain controls but if you are skilled in Mazak or Mazatrol they are happy to consider your application. Experience in using Fusion 360 systems would be a bonus.
Time served CNC Turner
Operators must be able to programme using either Mazatrol or Fanuc. Knowledge of FAPT would be advantageous. They are looking for someone who is highly skilled in programming and setting for this role. Must be able to write programming and work from engineer drawings.
Both roles:
Salary £18/h to begin with
Overtime at time x 1.5
