A great opportunity has become available for a Cost Controller to come join on of our clients based in Aberdeen. This is a contract role until April 2023. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, innovative and established organisation. Our client is a local service provider who are continuously growing and wining contracts. The key responsibilities include:

  1. Vendor tracking
  2. PO tracking from client
  3. Review projects profit & loss statements and account analysis
  4. Preparation of monthly profit & loss statement
  5. Review monthly financial results assigned with rig teams
  6. Review assigned area related vendor invoices
  7. Prepare budgets / roll-on forecasting
  8. Interact and liaise with project planners & project manager to ensure budgets are kept updated
  9. Determine priorities in the preparation of department
  10. Maintain files and documents thoroughly for the project


Experience required:

  1. Accounting qualification required (CIMA or ACCA)
  2. Rig upgrade experience required
  3. SAP or SAGE experience
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  5. Oil & Gas background is preferred
