Contract Offshore HSEQ Advisor Aberdeenshire

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Offshore HSEQ Advisor to come join them on a contract basis for 12-14months. They are looking for a candidate who is confident getting stuck in within the HSEQ department and provide guidance and assistance where and when needed.


The key responsibilities include:

  1. Continuous development and implementation of Management systems through safe systems of work
  2. Attend all relevant calls with regards to HSEQ standards and support when and where needed
  3. Liaise with project teams to ensure safe and effective campaigns from start to finish
  4. Ensure all HSE incidents, accidents and near misses are reported in a timely manner and investigated with suitable actions to follow
  5. Liaise with clients on any incident investigations and shared learnings with clients
  6. Working with the wider HSEQ team to develop group standard documents and assessments
  7. Help with the development and implantation of HSEQ procedures, polices and standards that form the group HSEQ management system
  8. Responsible for the continues implementation of quality management systems in accordance with IOS9001
  9. Ensure that all NCR’s / CAPA’s are reported in a timely manner
  10. Support the implementation of the ISO 14001 standard at offshore level
  11. Develop and support HSEQ initiatives, goals, objectives and targets under the direction of site managers and the Global HSEQ Manager


Skills and Experience:

  1. NEBOSH Certificate
  2. Accident investigation
  3. Internal Auditor qualification
  4. Training in relevant HSEQ aspects such as risk assessment and auditing
  5. ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 auditing qualification
  6. Previous experience in HSEQ Advisor
  7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
