Finance Assistant – Purchase Ledger – Dundee

Delighted to present an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our client in Dundee on a full-time permanent basis. The client are leaders in their field in the technology sector with customers and clients in multiple industries across the globe. The Finance Assistant role will have a strong focus on Purchase Ledger, therefore prior ledger experience is essential.

The Finance Assistant will support the current team in many aspects of Accounting and Finance including but not limited to :

  • Posting invoices and credit notes into system with correct codes
  • Purchase Ledger Accruals
  • Month End Accruals
  • Supporting the order process with suppliers
  • Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received
  • Credit Control
  • Accounts Payable Processes
  • Ad hoc duties as required

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience :

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Experience working Purchas Ledger
  • Working with high volume of invoices
  • Experience and understanding of accounts practices and principles
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software and computer literacy

Salary : Up to £26,000
