We are currently looking for a Fire and Safety Engineer for our client based in Bridge of Don. This is an onshore permanent position.
The Fire & Safety Engineer will be responsible for undertaking work activities on fire & safety equipment and specialist systems including installation, testing, inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fixed and portable fire safety systems and equipment including deluge, gaseous, water mist, sprinkler systems, risers, hydrants, foam systems, galley and other associated equipment. Servicing of respiratory protection equipment including breathing apparatus, escape sets, airline equipment and smoke hoods, portable gas detection equipment, life rafts, life jackets, fire equipment etc.
Essential:
SVQ/NVQ III or Apprenticeship in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
BAFE Certification to the requirements of BS5306 and BS5308 or equivalent
Hold a full UK driving Licence
