Graduate Landscape Architect – Glasgow (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity has become available with one of KBM Resourcing’s clients based in Glasgow. Due to continuous project wins, our client is looking for a Graduate Landscape Architect to come join them on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern organisation who are looking for a like-minded individual to join their growing team. As a Graduate Landscape Architect you will be working on projects which contribute to Net Zero and you will play a pivotal role within the larger team.

Our client is looking for an individual who has a keen interest within the renewable sector specifically on pumped storage, electricity infrastructure and other Net Zero projects. As a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will be working closely with other specialist teams within the organisations, this includes EIA consultants and Graphic designers. You will be involved in projects from start to finish giving you full exposure to the full project lifecycle.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Attend site visits at various stages of the projects lifecycle.
  • Prepare the relevant visuals and supporting figures.
  • Conduct baseline studies and the relevant background data collection.
  • Liaise with internal specialist teams including Environmental consultants / Coordinators on particular projects.
  • Attend the relevant meetings both internally and externally.
  • Prepare written inputs which support disciplines on projects including Landscape Visual and Impact Assessment Chapters and the relevant Technical Appendices.
  • Prepare and present a range of materials through different presentation mediums to a range of audiences.

The key skills / requirements:

  • Relevant degree (Landscape Architecture)
  • Chartership status would be preferred but not essential – support would be given to the right candidate.
  • Experience with the following software would be beneficial: AutoCAD, AutoGIS. Other software experience is welcomed.
  • Excellent communication ability both oral and written
  • Have the ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Excellent time management skills – must have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience working within or on renewable projects would be beneficial
  • Experience of conducting LVIA work.
  • Must have a keen interest in the outdoors.
