The HVAC Project Manager will be fundamental in providing project management and design support for a range of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You will liaise with clients and ensure that their requirements are met throughout the projects, whilst maintaining control of engineering changes from both a technical and commercial viewpoint.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of HVAC system design, installation and upgrade projects
- Coordinate & plan HVAC projects for clients both onshore & offshore from conceptual design through to completion
- Carry out HVAC surveys, onshore / offshore and overseas when required
- Support Estimator with preparation of tenders and quotations
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals , deliverables, budget and timelines
- Carry out detailed design, calculations and drawings when required
- Ensure all statutory, legislative, certification and specification requirements are met
- Ensure the highest standards are maintained in terms of client liaison and communication
- Monitor project budgets ensuring any potential overspend is highlighted
- Create specifications, coordinate procurement of materials ensuring compliance is maintained
- Carry out regular design and project reviews with team
- To compile workpacks and ensure that offshore personnel are properly and comprehensively briefed prior to departure
- To occasionally supervise on site on complex or challenging work scopes
- To promote at all time safety in the workplace, and particularly with offshore personnel
- To maintain records and files and generally ensure documentation policies are adhered to
Qualifications
Essential
- HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Competency in CAD Mep 3D modelling software
- Computer literate in all Microsoft Packages – mainly Excel, Word and Microsoft Project
Desirable
- Building Services Qualification
- Project Management Qualification
- Valid Offshore Certification (g., BOSIET, MIST, Medical etc.)
- P601 & P602 LEV Experience

- Technically astute in HVAC and refrigeration
- Good communication skill, written and verbal
- Attention to detail orientated
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to build strong relationships with clients
