HVAC & Refrigeration Technician – Offshore

The HVAC/R Technician will be required to work in a core role, on a 3-on/3-off rotation.

The ideal candidate will preferably have proven experience in a similar offshore role, but essentially will have hands-on experience of executing the routine maintenance, repair and fault finding on large commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including (but not limited to): AHUs, supply and extract fans, motors, DX refrigeration systems, humidifiers, pneumatically actuated fire/dampers, electric heaters, etc.

In addition to routine maintenance, potential candidates must also be capable and confident in performing module pressure checks, fan performance checks, ductwork internal/external inspections, interpreting PID, DID, DFD, GA drawings, electrical wiring schematics, and should have held Performing Authority (PA) and preferably also Electrical Isolation Authority in a similar core role.

Knowledge of F-Gas Regulations and experience of F-Gas management with accompanying 2079 (Cat 1) certification is essential. As is an understanding of COSHH and HSE requirements regarding LEV system testing and maintenance, including the ability to maintain accurate records of work conducted. Those with a demonstrable knowledge of applicable industry standards (e.g., ISO 15138, etc.) are highly desirable.

Qualifications required:

S/NVQ L3 (Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning). Applicants with S/NVQ L2 (with relevant experience) will also be considered.

F-Gas 2079, Comp Ex (EX01-04) (preferable), WAH (Unit 2), Small Bore Tubing (SBT01), Emergency First Aid, 17th/18th Edition (preferable)
