Mechanical Design Engineer – Aberdeen

A great opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a Bespoke Engineering Company based in Aberdeen. You will be joining an established company with an impressive history who continue to work with a strong portfolio of clients. In this role, you will work with Inventor, Vault and MathCAD to develop mechanical designs, bringing conceptual designs to reality.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Autodesk Inventor to create 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams.
• Use Autodesk Vault and apply MathCAD for engineering calculations.
• Provide technical support to enhance performance of mechanical designs.
• Propose innovative solutions.
• Produce documentation for all mechanical designs.
• Maintain organised documents for future reference.
• Conduct design reviews and implement quality control measures.

Required:

• Degree in a Mechanical discipline or similar.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role.
• Knowledge using Inventor, Vault and MathCAD.
• Strong understanding of Engineering principles.
• Strong interpersonal/ communication skills.
