The key responsibilities include:
- Management accounts which include profit and loss, budgets, cashflows and variance analysis
- KPI production and maintenance to sustain profitability
- Product costing
- Sales analysis
- Present feedback with regards to sales profitability against forecast, weekly reports and budgets
- Provide assistance with the budget process
- Maintain stock records
- Support, analysis and measure new projects and capital investments to ensure costs are accurate and performance is in line with expectations
- Effective management of direct and non-direct reports
- Ad-hoc duties when required
Skills, Experience and knowledge needed:
- Management accounts experience particularly cost of sales
- Robust communication skills
- The drive to understand the production process
- Experience of noticing trends and supporting the resolutions of any issues through an analytical approach
- Effective communication and the ability to work under own initiative
- Cashflow and banking experience
- The ability to recognise improvements within the reporting process to continuously drive performance
- A good understanding and experience of managing a small team
- IT Literate
