The key responsibilities include:

  1. Management accounts which include profit and loss, budgets, cashflows and variance analysis
  2. KPI production and maintenance to sustain profitability
  3. Product costing
  4. Sales analysis
  5. Present feedback with regards to sales profitability against forecast, weekly reports and budgets
  6. Provide assistance with the budget process
  7. Maintain stock records
  8. Support, analysis and measure new projects and capital investments to ensure costs are accurate and performance is in line with expectations
  9. Effective management of direct and non-direct reports
  10. Ad-hoc duties when required

 

Skills, Experience and knowledge needed:

  1. Management accounts experience particularly cost of sales
  2. Robust communication skills
  3. The drive to understand the production process
  4. Experience of noticing trends and supporting the resolutions of any issues through an analytical approach
  5. Effective communication and the ability to work under own initiative
  6. Cashflow and banking experience
  7. The ability to recognise improvements within the reporting process to continuously drive performance
  8. A good understanding and experience of managing a small team
  9. IT Literate

  1. 8 hour days
  2. Monday – Friday
