One of my clients within the Accounting field is looking for an Accounts Advisor to join one of their local offices. Due to continual expansion they are looking for an experienced Accounts Advisor do join one of their local offices. The ideal candidate will have experience of providing solid accounting advice to a number of clients of various sizes. If you are an experienced accounts personnel this position could be just for you.


The duties and responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of final accounts
  2. Tax returns
  3. Analysing client records
  4. Record and adjust accounting requirements when needed to produce final accounts and tax returns
  5. Reconciliation of all accounts
  6. Preparation of year end accounts/ paper files
  7. Highlight any discrepancies within the accounts
  8. Maintain client notes and update when necessary
  9. Business tax computation preparation
  10. Personal tax computation
  11. Analytical review of accounts and identify tax saving measures
  12. Send final packages for client approval


Essential criteria:

  1. Degree qualified or similar
  2. Experience of a similar role
  3. Experience of preparing a set of financial accounts for an array of different clients
  4. Experience of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.
  5. A confident individual who is comfortable requesting information
