Accounts Assistant – Receivable / Credit Control
An excellent opportunity has become available to join a privately owned organisation within the Aberdeen area. Our client is a well-established company who operated globally. They are looking for a driven individual who has the ability to grow alongside them and enhance their finance department. Our client is well-known for looking after their employees as this is their greatest asset. As an Accounts Assistant you will have the responsibility for recording new & existing projects, forecasting and the submission of sales invoices.
The key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for credit control
- Weekly, monthly, annual cash collection
- Issue and raise sales invoices
- Liaise with project teams and raise sales invoices
- Variance reporting
- Ensure all contracts are allocated forecast dates
- Reporting of AR KPIs
- Reconciliations
- Any intercompany invoices
- Assist with annual budgeting
- Maintain accurate debtor information
- Month end routine
- Customer analysis
The skills / qualifications / knowledge required:
- Experience within a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous experience within a busy Oil & Gas organisation would be desirable but not essential
- Previous ERP system experience
