Customer Services Engineer

Reporting to: Customer Services Manager

Working for an Engineering company who strive to work with their customers and staff to provide the highest quality goods for the food & drink industry. With an impressive global customer base this is an exciting opportunity to join a company that can design unique tailored customer specifications and manufacture highly durable products.

 

Job Purpose: To carry out site installations and support key customer accounts.

 

Main responsibilities:

To organise, manage and develop the site operations team: –

  1. Operate as part of a site installation team in support of customer requirements
  2. Provide customer facing support for:
    1. Service calls
    2. Prospective project work
    3. Installation & commissioning of equipment
  3. Developing and recording site surveys to
    1. Enable customer quotations.
  4. Develop and grow the sales value of the Site operations
  5. Provide input to design reviews to ease equipment installation & commissioning.

 

Key Skills

  1. Excellent technical skills in at least 2 key skills – Machining, Fabrication, Pipefitting, Welding & Mechanical Fitting
  2. Ability to interpret detailed Engineering drawings and schematics.
  3. Strong verbal and written communications skills
  4. Ability to work in a team.
  5. Demonstrable PC skills, Windows Office, etc.
  6. Self-Motivated

 

Qualifications

  1. Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering discipline
    1. HNC / HND in Engineering subject
  2. Board practical experience in
    1. Mechanical Fitting
    2.  Welding
    3. Moving and installation of Equipment.
