One of our clients in Aberdeen are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with supervisors and management to provide all the correct tools which enable employees at all levels to complete their jobs in the most effective manner. By providing employees with the tools they need, this will maximise their capabilities and ensure they deliver the business objectives and organisational capacity. The Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in yearly training and liaise with departmental heads to highlight training needs and budgets
- Maintain industry developments standards
- Monitor and resolve any concerns relating to training, staff competency development plans and appraisal records
- Responsible for accurate data management
- Review and analyse training competency data
- Facilitate training sessions
- Ensure your competency of HR/Learning systems are to the highest of standards
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the training cycle
- Liaise with department management to analyse training needs
- Develop new training programs
- Have a sound understanding of e-learning techniques
- Provide support and guidance to the business on different tools
- Lead projects and initiatives as directed by management
- Monitor and report training and competency KPIs
- Any ad hoc duties required
Essential Skills and Experience:
- CIPD Qualification in Training/Learning and Development or equivalent
- Educated to higher level or equivalent
- Experience in Learning and Developing / Training and Competency
- A sound understanding of the training and competency function and what it’s expected to provide
- Flexible, positive and collaborative approach to work within the function
- Proficient within Microsoft Packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to work under own initiative
- Prioritisation of workload to meet deadlines
Additional Information:
- Office based
- 37.5 Hours a week
- 29 days holiday + public holidays
- Salary £35-45k
