One of our clients based in Aberdeen are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their growing logistics department. Our client is a reputable logistics solutions organisation who operate internationally. The ideal candidate will have experience within Customs.
The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring profitable files are billed correctly
- Tracking courier imports and exports
- Ensuring customs entries are completed and amended if necessary
- Coordinate requirements from clients
- Complete tasks and projects which are agreed in line with job delivery requirements
- Resolve any client customs queries
- Follow jobs from quoting through to final billing
The essential knowledge, experience and skills needed:
- At least 2+ years Freight forwarding experience
- Strong can do attitude
- IT Literate
- Drive to achieve deadlines
- Confident dealing with internal staff at all levels and customers
- Robust problem solving skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
The desirable knowledge, experience and skills needed:
- Multimodal import / export experience for oil & gas clients
- Customs import / export experience
- Qualification in customs export / import
