One of our clients based in Aberdeen are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their growing logistics department. Our client is a reputable logistics solutions organisation who operate internationally. The ideal candidate will have experience within Customs.

 

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Ensuring profitable files are billed correctly
  2. Tracking courier imports and exports
  3. Ensuring customs entries are completed and amended if necessary
  4. Coordinate requirements from clients
  5. Complete tasks and projects which are agreed in line with job delivery requirements
  6. Resolve any client customs queries
  7. Follow jobs from quoting through to final billing

 

The essential knowledge, experience and skills needed:

  1. At least 2+ years Freight forwarding experience
  2. Strong can do attitude
  3. IT Literate
  4. Drive to achieve deadlines
  5. Confident dealing with internal staff at all levels and customers
  6. Robust problem solving skills
  7. Excellent relationship building skills
  8. Great attention to detail
  9. Strong communication skills

 

The desirable knowledge, experience and skills needed:

  1. Multimodal import / export experience for oil & gas clients
  2. Customs import / export experience
  3. Qualification in customs export / import

  1. Monday – Friday
  2. Full-time
  3. Permanent position
  4. Salary dependent on experience
