One of our clients in Aberdeen is looking for an experienced logistics coordinator. The ideal candidate must have experience within imports & exports as this is a large responsibility of the position. The duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Processing purchase and sale invoices
  2. Provide high quality support to customers, suppliers and inter-company with freight movements
  3. Liaise with freight companies
  4. Provide excellent communication between management and relevant parties on delays/updates etc.
  5. Produce sales invoices to sales team and directors
  6. Produce quotations and purchase orders to relevant parties
  7. Maintain and generate the correct documentation to track all consignments accurately
  8. Ensure all documentation is in line with HMRC
  9. Ensure all documentation is presented in an accurate and timely manner to clients
  10. Produce monthly submissions of financial reports to clients
  11. Resolve any financial issues that may arise with regards to documentation

 

The key skills that will be required include:

  1. Excellent knowledge of import & export processes and its documentation – at least 1 year
  2. Robust communication skills
  3. The ability to work in a team and under own initiative
  4. Proactive individual with a self-motivated and flexible working attitude
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Offices packages including Excel & Word
  6. Previous experience using SAGE50 – at least 1 year
  7. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise

 

Additional information:

  1. Full-time and permanent position
  2. Up to £30k annual salary
  3. Office based
