We have an opportunity for a refrigeration engineer to join a well-established engineering company that specialise in hazardous environments including oil and gas, marine, renewables and petrochemicals.
To qualify you must have previous offshore experience, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the HVAC & Refrigeration industry.
This is a permanent job, based on an existing offshore rota position, likely 3&3.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Completion of all activities identified within the work packs relevant to the
- Refrigeration Engineers role
- Installation of air conditioning, refrigeration pipework and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct pressure testing and brazing.
- Conduct Commissioning and servicing of HVAC & refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct refrigerant recovery
- Conduct refrigeration pipework brazing, bending, setting and joining.
- Conduct leak testing, evacuation and charging of systems.
- Conduct servicing water chillers and air handling units.
- Carry out refrigeration surveys.
Experience/Training:
- Valid Offshore certification (e.g. BOSIET, MIST, Medical etc.)
- SVQ/NVQ III or Apprenticeship in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- F-GAS 2079
- Electrical qualification (CompEx)
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
