Our client has a number of offices throughout the East-Coast of Scotland is looking to expand their finance team and require a Payroll assistant. The ideal candidate will share the same values as our client. They are looking for someone who has a strategic mind-set and has the ability to help maintain the businesses growth. Flexible working arrangements are available, hybrid or working full-time in one of their offices through-out the East Coast.


The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Processes payroll on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  2. Liaise with clients to collect and process all relevant payroll requirements in a sufficient manner
  3. Process pension contributions
  4. Produce payslips and payroll reports
  5. Employee PAYE payments
  6. Monthly and quarterly PAYE reporting
  7. Ensure all payroll data is produced from clients
  8. Resolve any payroll queries in a timely manner
  9. Ad hoc duties when required


The key requirements include:

  1. Experience in a similar roles is essential
  2. Shares the same values as the company
  3. Excellent communication & organisational skills
  4. The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
