Our client has a number of offices throughout the East-Coast of Scotland is looking to expand their finance team and require a Payroll assistant. The ideal candidate will share the same values as our client. They are looking for someone who has a strategic mind-set and has the ability to help maintain the businesses growth. Flexible working arrangements are available, hybrid or working full-time in one of their offices through-out the East Coast.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Processes payroll on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Liaise with clients to collect and process all relevant payroll requirements in a sufficient manner
- Process pension contributions
- Produce payslips and payroll reports
- Employee PAYE payments
- Monthly and quarterly PAYE reporting
- Ensure all payroll data is produced from clients
- Resolve any payroll queries in a timely manner
- Ad hoc duties when required
The key requirements include:
- Experience in a similar roles is essential
- Shares the same values as the company
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
