To deliver contracted products and services to agreed client specifications on time and budget whilst emulating our company values. To define engineering work resource requirements and delivery timelines required to meet contracted objectives. Define delivery timelines required to meet the contractual objectives.

 

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritise assigned projects and ensure on time delivery and engage with all relevant stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  2. Manage the project to ensure all key milestones are met
  3. Prepare documentation for equipment loadout and shipping
  4. Ensure regular interface with client/client systems as per prerequisite, whilst providing a flexible approach to ensure project requirements are satisfied
  5. Responsible for specification, issue and return of all equipment and materials, inclusive of an transportation requirements
  6. Raise requisitions for required project materials, site personnel and equipment through internal systems
  7. Provide technical support to offshore personnel as and when required
  8. Manage modification/manufacture of equipment for projects utilising Service Request Forms.
  9. Gaining customer feedback by customer satisfaction using FPAL and client visits onshore, offshore and overseas as required
  10. Arrange and witness client FAT equipment testing (as required)
  11. Creation of offshore information packs
  12. Carry out project briefings and debriefings with offshore personnel
  13. Review daily reports from offshore and projects
  14. Create and maintain the project plan/tracker and ensure that it is clearly communicated where applicable
  15. Be aware of commercial implications within contracts e.g. payment milestones and LD (liquidated damages)
  16. To support the sales department in technical proposals and client meetings when requested
  17. Ensure equipment designs fulfil the company and customer specifications
  18. Managing technical elements efficiently and effectively to ensure best solution is provided
  19. Completion of service requests

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1. Minimum of 5 year work experience in a similar role
  2. Degree level qualification in Engineering or similar desirable
  3. Mechanical/Hydraulics/Electrical/PLC/Backdeck/Offshore operational background
  4. Experience in Project Management
  5. Excellent organisational /communication/time management skills
  6. Previous experience with back deck and mechanical handling equipment
  7. Experience in review of specifications, preparing work packs, plans and management of modifications
  8. Experience in FAT, mobilization/demobilization of equipment for offshore/overseas
  9. Previous experience of working offshore is highly desirable
