Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the execution of work programmes to supply product and services to offshore windfarm projects on time and on budget. You will be the principal point of contact for our customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will provide a seamless interface between the company and their customers, ensuring that contract requirements are translated into action plans and deliverables, and that communication is clear and effective. This is an office based role at their headquarters in Inverkeithing, Fife but the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all of our projects worldwide.
Main Duties
- Principal customer interface for all live projects
- Customer weekly calls, updates and reports
- Set and manage project milestones, timelines and priorities
- Setting of KPI’s and success criteria and agreement of deliverables
- Co-ordinate with other team leaders to facilitate the flow of information
- Work with key stakeholders and relevant teams to ensure that everyone’s needs are known and ensure customer outcomes are at the forefront of decision making
- Troubleshooting issues
- Reporting and updates to senior management
- Ambassador for the company
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Degree or equivalent
- Professional project management qualification e.g. PMP
- Proven track record of project delivery
- Experience in the operation of business strategies, team management, service management and operational performance
- Good working knowledge of service management principles and experience monitoring overall performance of services
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical/engineering background
- Able to demonstrate administrative or logistics experience
- Ability to travel abroad
- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Clean driving licence and permit to work in the UK
Advantageous Knowledge/Experience
- Knowledge or practical experience of offshore wind sector
- Electrical engineering background
