Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of a wide variety of products extensively used in a diverse range of markets including the Renewables, Oil & Gas, Motor and Agricultural Industries. The highly innovative products produced by our client have been solving complex customer challenges around the world for decades warranting the company’s rapid international expansions. Our client’s Scottish headquarters are currently going under their own expansions making for it being a very exciting time to join their friendly and motivated team! Our client is currently looking to take on a Purchasing & Planning coordinator to help pioneer these developments and to help plan the next generation of cutting-edge technology.
The key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Ensure all reports are updated regularly to alert departments of any potential issues
- Build upon relationships with all internal teams to ensure effective communication and fulfilment of customer orders
- Troubleshoot problems which occur during production and liaise with production team leads
- Liaise with purchasing & planning team to ensure materials are available to meet customer demands
- Create and maintain production schedules
- Update SAP when required
- Invoices
- Run, analyse and raise purchase orders based on material requirements planning
- Chase any delayed orders from suppliers
- Ensure working environments are safe at all times
Essential skills required:
- IT literate, excellent Excel knowledge
- Technical knowledge – understanding Technical & Machine Drawings
- MRP system experience
- Excellent scheduling and report experience
- Experience of quality systems
- Great problem-solving skills
- Experience of SAP
- Project Management experience
- ISO9001 & ISO14001 knowledge
