An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Regional Sales & Business Development Manager to come join one of our clients in Aberdeen. Our client is looking for an experienced BD Manager who has a positive proven track record of expansion. The purpose of this role is to work alongside The Regional Sales & Service Director, where you will help aid the growth of our client’s business. As a regional Sales & BD Manager you will utilise your knowledge and sector wide contacts to sustainably grow our client’s business in-line with their business plan / targets.


The key responsibilities include:

  1. Leave and develop our client’s business
  2. Analyse customer base across the business and establish the best approach for growth
  3. Enhance regional BD and work alongside regional staff to ensure targets are met
  4. Build and enhance the already established network of contacts
  5. Lead client relationships to ensure robust relationships are sustained
  6. Organise key networking events to raise company profile
  7. Sales and proposal management
  8. Audit, customer and visitor coordination
  9. Ensure site culture is in line with business values
  10. Regional management of ISO-9001 Quality Assurance Policy
  11. Main POC for any HR needs, employee support & concerns


The key skills/ knowledge/ experience required:

  1. Minimum of 6 years’ experience within a visible senior BD management role
  2. 6 years minimum within the Oil & gas sector, Corrosion management preferably
  3. A high passion for continuous improvement
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  5. A good technical understanding of mechanical & instrumentation systems and their components
  6. High customer focus and track record of working closely with customers
