We are currently looking for a Repairs Machinist for our client based in Peterhead. The role is based with a large company who specialise in valves, fuel systems & accessories and component manufacture, providing complex engineering solutions for the defence, nuclear, aerospace, utilities and energy industries with facilities in over 30 locations worldwide.
The role involves;
- Maintenance & Repair of all Workshop Equipment required for processing fuel nozzles and manufactured components
- Manual machining of various components in accordance with the manufacturer’s and client’s drawings and procedures
- Setting, operating and programming CNC machines using Fanuc controls
- Operating manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and EDM machines
