A new position has become available with a well-respected and established Oil & Gas company for an experienced Accounts Assistant. The ideal candidate will have the motivation to progress within their career. This position has been made available due to continual expansion across the company.
The responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable
- Credit control
- Daily banking
- Providing ad-hoc financial support to different business units
- Invoicing jobs based on timesheets and in line within terms & conditions
- Bank reconciliations
- Company credit card processing
- Month end journals
- Provide support to Finance Manager when needed, particularly at month end
- PAYE timesheet input and Sage payroll processing
- Occasional travel to other branches
- Maintain good relationships with clients both internally and externally
Essential skills & experience:
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience
- At least 1 years’ experience within Finance & Accounting
- Supervisory experience
- Competent in ERP systems including Navision
- Sage payroll experience
- Excellent attention to detail
