One of our clients in Aberdeen requires an experienced Finance Manager to come join them on a full-time permanent basis as a Senior Finance Manager. Our client is a well-respected organisation within their area of work within the East-Coast of Scotland. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and experience within finance to help ensure decisions are made which maximise management and business growth.


The key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage a dedicated portfolio of business in an effective and professional manner
  2. Follow any direction and guidance given by board members to ensure the company policies and procedures are in place at all times
  3. Ensure action plans are in place and reviewed on a regular basis
  4. Ensure costs are controlled within budgets
  5. Monthly management accounts
  6. P&L reviews
  7. Liaise with auditors, management directors to ensure growth opportunities are being maximised
  8. Provide financial support where with regards to business objectives


The requirements include:

  1. At least 5 years’ experience at management level
  2. Professional accounting qualification would be desirable
  3. Robust communication and organisational skills
  4. Experience & working knowledge of Sage packages
  5. IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages
