One of our clients based outside of Aberdeen is looking for an experienced Senior HSSE Advisor. They require an individual who has an excellent attitude and has experience & enthusiasm for working within a corporate setting. Our client has decade’s worth of experience within their field and they pride themselves on ensuring all of their staff meet industry standards. Our client’s main focus is to ensure their products and services are of the highest quality. This standalone position will support the data collection, analysis and reporting of the continual improvement cycle for safety performance improvements.
The key responsibilities include:
- Provide HSSE support including, initiating campaigns, presenting and organising webinars, participate in audits
- Verify the quality of a variety of automated HSSE reporting tasks
- Ensure group statistics are accurate on a money basis from the HSSE incident reporting system
- Analyse HSSE data and provide feedback where necessary
- Review high potential incidents in line with company standards, highlight any inconstancies
- Prepare any ad hoc reports relating to HSE performance
- Participate in global audits
- Coach, Mentor and support personnel when required
- Liaise with different departments including IT
- Act as a focal point in the provision of data for IADC ISP reporting scheme
- Maintain and develop where necessary systems for the recording and following-up of lessons learned from incidents, risk assessments etc.
- Be fully educated with statutory regulations
- Support any investigations
- Support environmental and sustainability monitoring
- Plan annual Emergency Control Exercises
Skills / knowledge & qualifications needed:
- Oil & Gas knowledge and experience is essential
- IT literate
- Experience and have the ability to author reports, procedures, presentations etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of human performance
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and colleagues
