Permanent Spray Painter South Aberdeenshire

We have a permanent job opening for a Spray Painter with our client in South Aberdeen. The job role includes preparing products ready for the application of Spray PU Elastomer Material.  You will also prepare products for the application of final coat of 2 part paint either by hand or spray application.

Suitable candidates must be able to understand drawings and check products for correct dimensions after the application of the spray elastomer material.

Qualifications:

1. Must have experience with spray painting either in industrial spray painting or in car body repairs or ex coachbuilder
2. To be experienced in Spraying 2 Part Polyurethane Elastomer material and controlling the thickness of this material  is desirable

Skills and Experience:

1. Trained in the use of spray equipment and use of air tools
2. To be able to work on own initiative and must be prepared to work overtime and shifts as required to meet deadlines set
3. Spray Painting and preparation for spray painting
4. Ability to read drawings for checking and measuring products
5. To be able to work on own initiative and must be prepared to work overtime and shifts as required to meet deadlines set

This is a 40 hour a week role working Monday – Thursday, 7.30am – 4pm and Friday 6am – 2.30pm.
