I have an opportunity come up in South Aberdeenshire with our reputable client for a QC Inspector with a machine shop background. The ideal candidate will have experience with wellhead equipment and be familiar with API 6A/ API17D.
Duties include but may not be restricted to:
- Inspection of machined components
- Inspection of fabrications (as required)
- Inspection of manufactured assemblies (as required)
- Inspection of 3rd party vendor supplied parts/equipment (as required)
- Inspection of API 6A/API 17D equipment and generating inspection reports of
findings - Calibration of measuring equipment
- 1st Off checks (multiple jobs)
- Issue NCR reports within the WEL system
- Component identification and marking
- Use of Faro Gauge
- Supervision of safe packaging of components
- Working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 15001
- Liaise between mechanical, fabrication and machine shop
- Ensure you work safely and you are not endangering yourself, those around
you or the environment - Ensuring client requirements are met
