An exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a thriving Main Building Contractor based in Glasgow is now available. You will be joining a company who well established and take pride in everything they do. Their projects span across the Industrial, Residential and Commercial sectors involving new build, refurbishment, extensions and façade work. You will be part of a dynamic, fast paced environment and will be expected to be able to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Review of tender documentation
- Compilation of tender enquiries
- Preparation of take-offs
- Preparation of tender submissions utilising estimating software
- Considering and actioning any post tender submission queries
- Preparation of budget costings
- Assistance in preparation of fortnightly sales and estimating documentation
- Attendance of pre-tender submission meetings
- Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards
- Management and direction of estimating assistant
- Identification of potential forthcoming tender leads
