Spray Painter
Permanent Full-Time
The Painter will be responsible for spray painting, general labouring and other operational duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Painting of equipment via an airless spray system
• Cleaning and preparing of equipment prior to spraying
• Power washing / solvent washing of used equipment
• Masking of all equipment prior to spraying
• Ensuring the airless system is set up safely
• Maintenance of paint system guns and pumps
• Ensuring good housekeeping of the paint bay area
• Maintaining sufficient paint stock levels, informing supervisor of paint to be ordered
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required, and assisting in the day-to-day operations in the Assembly and Test area when not painting – assisting in the disassembly, cleaning, and preparing of Pressure Control Equipment (PCE)
• Moving goods around the workshop and yard via a forklift and electric pallet truck
• Assisting with maintenance work to facilities, plant and equipment within the workshop or in the open (yard), when required
• Ensuring that the workshop and yard area are always kept clean and clear of debris, inclusive of keeping yard clear from snow and ice in the winter, always promoting a safe working environment
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Must possess good basic education
• Previous experience in painting with an airless paint system
• Forklift Training
• Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
• Mechanically minded
• Manual handling
• High Pressure Water Jetting Awareness
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home
• Must have good time management and organisation skills
