KBM are currently recruiting for a Stores/Yard Operative on behalf of one of our engineering clients based in Ellon.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous yard or stores experience who is confident operating a forklift and enjoys working as part of a small team.
Pay Rate: £14.70 – £15.70 per hour, depending on experience
Payment Options – PAYE
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday
Weekly Pay
Length of contract 12 weeks – potentially leading to a perm opportunity in 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general yard duties
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating a forklift
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised yard, stores and work areas
- Supporting the wider team with general duties as required
- Following all relevant health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence (B1/B2)
- Previous experience working within a yard or stores environment
- Good work ethic and a reliable approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7am to 3pm
- Friday: 7am – 2pm
- 40 hours per week
