Technical Support Engineer

Up to £45k

Are you an experienced support engineer who is looking for a new and rewarding opportunity. One of KBM’s long standing clients are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to come join them on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Technical Support Engineer  you will be reporting to the team Manager and liaising with external stakeholders. You will ensure all work carried out is in full compliance with H&S regulations and ensure all contractual requirements are met. If you have a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the preparation of project RAMS & CPP’s
  • Produce and compile project specific existing utility drawings
  • Record, prepare and file drawings in line with the business and their needs.
  • Support the wider Engineering team with any additional requirements
  • Maintain and monitor project social media including approvals for release
  • Provide support with the selection of techniques, procedures and methods
  • Assist with the maintenance of RFI schedules
  • Assist with design changes, highlighting any issues whilst providing solutions
  • Attend the relevant meetings related to design, review and progress of projects
  • Assist with the H&S plans
  • When acting as the sub-contractor ensure the relevant RAMS are created.

The key skills / experience / knowledge required:

  • The relevant technical / Engineering qualification
  • Experience within the civil engineering industry (4 years min)
  • CSCS card
  • Driving licence is essential
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
